Sazmanab presented a two-part video screening by Sazmanab artist-in-residence Mette Juul.
Mette Juul is a prize-winning Danish photographer educated in the UK. She has a background in filmmaking and has exhibited in Denmark, Germany, China and the UK. Juul’s work is based on the idea of the collection of images and the potential narrative that lies within a personal archive of photographs. She works with photography, video, and books. The finished work often contains elements of fiction and takes the audience on a journey, to places both foreign and familiar. The open boundary between reality and fiction is where Mette Juul works.
