Ghazaleh Hedayat’s “Bygones”

24 Apr 2015

Panel discussion revolving around Ghazaleh Hedayat’s exhibition at ag Galerie, "Bygones" with Majid Akhgar, Hadi Azari, and Zanyar Bolouri

“Skin is the layer with which one feels the outside world. This bonding layer has always been an enigma− where it falls and how far it reaches. Where my body is and how far it reaches. Photo-paper is also a thin layer that falls upon the world and leaves its trace over it. But how much of this world can fit onto this layer of skin? Paper and skin have to be both felt and seen − sometimes in their depths and sometimes on their surface.”
Hedayat on her series "Bygones"
