"Urban geographers generally define the city as an artificial landscape consisting of different streets, buildings, machinery, and monuments which together make today’s urban life somewhat possible. Tehran is a surreal site with bridges, billboards, cranes, and towers that none are where they are supposed to be. I am lost in Tehran. For quite some time, my city has been lost too."
