Medusa ⧚ Mahtab Mozayan

07 Dec 2012 - 12 Dec 2012

Exhibition by Mahtab Mozayan

"I’m afraid you’ll find out about what I’ve been hiding inside of me!
Then chances are you’ll behead me to hold my head in front of your enemies, so they would turn into stone with me looking at them. Meanwhile I should be careful not to sting you.
I laugh and I say maybe it’s the time of when the world ends.
My eyes are swollen, aren’t they?
By the way, now that you’re passing by, did you notice that I have a demon?
Nothing, I just wanted you to know.
Well, she’s older than me… in fact, if we don’t take care of each other we both get old early.
I try to cheer her up.
Yes… ugly… so ugly plus she’s in love and she’s mean.
No, I don’t want to go to an exorcism ceremony.
Do you know how she feels about you?
Just like a family photo she can’t get enough of you."
