I’m Here, I’m Not Here ⧚ Samira Eskandarfar

28 Sep 2012 - 09 Oct 2012

Exhibition by Samira Eskandarfar

"Moments that it’s like you’re here and you’re not here. Everything seems obscure and vague. When you think hard, when you think real hard, you can’t remember your name. You remember your name, you constantly repeat it in your head, but you find it weird. A name rings in your head but it’s so weird that you can’t believe it’s yours. You’re not yourself, or at least not really yourself. You look at a picture that is supposed to be you, a place you’ve been to but everything seems so far away. So far that you can’t believe you’ve been there. Been there and weren’t. So far that you’re here now, but maybe you’re not.
There are moments that it’s like you’re here and you’re not."
