Rybon Art Center is an international, nonpolitical, autonomous, artist-led initiative, based in Tehran. It was established in 2008 to promote innovation, experimentation and marketing of art among the local community of artists and to explore the possibilities of exchanging ideas and knowledge across ethnic, regional and artistic borders, in the context of contemporary critical art practice in Iran. Rybon supports artists and their works to facilitate and encourage new experiences in art. It aims to create a vast network of different artistic routes and make artistic and cultural connections with the art institutes and organizations throughout the world.
