Manuel Buerger runs a design laboratory in Berlin and works with clients all around the world. Buerger’s design practice is indicated by many-layered narratives which challenge the viewers in deconstruction and construction of meaning. In his essay “Slippery Design” he pushes ideas of misunderstanding and misleading to encourage discourse – forcing never-ending communication. His clients include Transmediale Festival and House of Electronic Arts Basel among others. He works with the University of Cincinnati, City University of Hong Kong, Berlin University of Arts, Merz Academy Stuttgart.
During his residency at Sazmanab, Manuel gave an artist talk and made a presentation of his works at Sazmanab.
