Exhibition by Omid Mehdizadeh
“Urban geographers generally define the city as an artificial landscape consisting of different streets, buildings, machinery, and monuments which together make today’s urban life somewhat possible. Tehran is a surreal site with bridges, billboards, cranes, and towers that none are where they are supposed to be. I am lost in Tehran. For quite some time, my city has been lost too.”
Omid Mehdizadeh (b. 1984) is a photographer based in Tehran.
